The Art Centre Pierre Arnaud Foundation, Lens, is a cultural place. Throughout the year it offers its visitors important exhibitions currents of European painting between 1830 and 1950, as well as viewpoints between Western and non-Western arts. From 2016, our art center will offer a third annual exhibition of Swiss private collections. It will find its place between the summer and winter exhibitions. In the meantime, these are punctuated by intermediate exposures, in spring and autumn shorter. These are particularly devoted to a Valais-inspired art.
conference cycles, creative workshops, tours and exceptional events are live art center with the seasons, with another access to art, whether scientific or fun, for younger and old.
The art center also houses a restaurant: Indigo. This is in an idyllic setting, with breathtaking views of the Alps and a terrace overlooking Lake Louché. During the day, Indigo is open primarily to visitors for a coffee break or a snack. A menu or daily special is offered at noon and can enjoy with ease of cooking skills.
In the evening, the tables are adorned with tablecloths, the decor blends with a map of the most delicate dishes. The restaurant is run by the young chef Mathieu Moreau, who could benefit from the advice of the late Philippe Rochat, famous chef.
Chef Mathieu Moreau and his team are rated 14/20 by Gault & Millau.
